Matador is just a television show established and produced between 1982 and 1978. It is located at the fictional town of Korsbæk between 1929 and 1947. It follows the lives of a selection of characters from across the social spectrum, focusing specifically on the rivalry between the families of two businessmen: The banker Hans Christian Varnæs, an established neighborhood instrumental, and social climber Mads Skjern, who arrives in town as the show opens. The name Matador was removed from the localised edition of this Monopoly the show' English name that was tentative. Additionally, in modern mega a"matador" is frequently utilized to describe a company tycoon, at the show speaking to this character of Mads Skjern and his craftiness as a self-made entrepreneur. Directed by famous movie maker Erik Balling, Matador was author Lise Nørgaard's idea who composed Most of the episodes along with Karen Smith, Jens Louis Petersen and Paul Hammerich.
