Eden of the East

Eden of the East is a Japanese anime television show, which premiered on April 9, 2009 on Fuji TV's noitaminA time slot. Created, written and directed by Kenji Kamiyama, it includes character designs by Chika Umino and animation production by Production I.G. Based on a classic story by Kamiyama, it is the first original noitaminA collection. Eden of The East Compilation: Air Communication, A set of the TV show, had a small theatrical release on September 26, 2009. Two other theatrical films also have been released. Eden of the East Picture I: The King of Eden was released on November 28, 2009 in Japan and also the second film, Eden of the East the Movie II: Paradise Lost, was released on March 13, 2010. It show and both films have been licensed for release in North America by Funimation Entertainment. On the FUNimation Channel, the show made its North American debut on December 27, 2010.
